Slow Learner Programme

• Slow learner programme was initiated in the college by Bharathidasan University during the academic year 2011-12. Initially it was for students of Mathematics and English. Slow learners in the Department of Mathematics and English were benefitted by the programme.
• During the academic year 2013-14 Tamilnadu State Council for Higher Education sanctioned a programme. Special care for slow learners inorder to prevent college dropouts with the fund of Rs. 1,25,000/- per annum till 2018 - 2019.
• All final year UG course students benefitted by the programme. All most 700 students per year from 2014 – 2015 benefitted. Students were interested to participate in the programme.
• Students were given the option of selecting the paper to slow learner programme and the chosen paper was taken in special hours after the regular college hours. The programme attained its goal by achieving more than 95% pass percentage.
