Academics

• Ms. S. Esther Nandhini, II MSW received Rs.15,000 from Tamil Nadu State Council for Higher Education, Chennai under Student Mini Project for the year 2018-19 and was guided by Dr. A. Sivagami, Head, Department of Social Work.
• Ms. A. Vinotharshini, II M.Com received Rs.15,000 from Tamil Nadu State Council for Higher Education, Chennai under Student Mini Project for the year 2018-19 and was guided by Dr. K. Kalaichelvi, Head, Department of Commerce.
• S. Devikala of III BBA presented the paper on Technology Innovations in B2B Marketing in the International Conference on Marketing Research in Emerging Global Scenario organized by Sri Venkateshwara College of Arts and Science on 24th Sep 2011.
• N. Ambika of III BBA presented the paper on Impact of Globalisation on Small Scale Industry in the National Seminar on Impact of Globalisation on Indian Industries and Foreign Trade organized by Khadir Mohideen College, Adirampattinam, Thanjavur. On 28th Mar 2010.
• P.Dhivya & N.Vasanthi of II BBA presented the paper entitled  Competence And Employment Forum- Linking HRD and HRM  in the state level seminar on Recent trends in Trade and Commerce organized by Tamilvel Umamaheswaranar Karanthai Arts College, Thanjavur on 28th Mar 2009
• P.Dhivya of III BBA presented the paper entitled  Venture Capital Funds are not Non Banking Financial Intermediaries in the National Seminar on “Global Financial Crisis and Its Impact on Indian Financial System organized by Bharathidasan University, Trichirappalli on 12-13 Sep 2009.

Sports

• Pragadeeswari of BCA participated as a member of Tamil nadu kabbadi team and won second place in kabbadi tournament held at Ujjayini, Madhya Pradesh from 1.1.2016 – 11.1.2016.
• A.Pragadeeswari of II BCA was selected in Indian Junior Kabbadi team and she was selected to participate kabbadi competition at Iran. She underwent training at Bhopal, Madhyapradesh from 19.1.2015 – 8.2.2015 and 22.3.2015 – 19.4.2015.
• S. Kowsalya , History and A. Pragadeeswari of BCA participated in National Kabbadi competition at Kerala and won III prize during 2014-15. 
• Our college team won I prize in Intercollegiate Kabbadi competition conducted by Bharathidasan  university at perambalur from 23.9.2015 – 27.9.2015.
• Students of our college S. Kowsalya, R. Sumathi, R. Rajeswari, V. Dhivya, and A.Pragadeeswari participated in Chief Ministers Trophy Kabbadi Competition held at Chennai and won III place and received Rs. 50000/- cash prize each.
• In our college competition S.Kowsalya of History Department won the individual championship.

• K. Suganya, II BBA won II Prize in Drawing Competition on Suicide Prevention Awareness Campaign organized by District Mental Health Programme, Thanjavur in Sep 2018
• Kurinji Kabilar Thamizh sangam, Paramatthi, Vellore District conducted competitions. S. Devaki of Department of Maths received Ilangavi Virudhu 2017 award
• K.Devasundari of History Department won I prize in elocution competition conducted by Magudam  thiramaiyanavargal membaattu sangam and Nehru Yuvakendra, Govt. of India and received Young achiever award.
• Magudam thiramaiyanavargal membaattu sangam, Pattukkottai conducted competition on 8.1.2016; in which Azhgunila and Akila of III Biotechnology obtained first prize in Drawing, Rangoli and hand craft competition.
• Krithika of Department of Microbiology received first prize in Model competition in JJ college, Pudukkottai. Priyadarshini and K. Divyapraveena of II BCA students won III prize in Brain Scratch completion conducted in Lycoz’16 technical programme organized by Rajagiri Dawood Basha Arts and Science College on 6.2.2016.
• Ms. M. Kowsalya received prize for Elocution and Quiz competition at ARJ College of Engineering & Technology on 09.01.2015
• Department of Commerce received overall championship in the Management Meet conducted by Bharathidasan University, Trichirappalli in 2015.
• M.Elavarasi, V.Mohanapriya, T.Indhumathi, N.Abirami, C.Yazhini, N.Ratchana, G.Santhiya from the Department of Business Administration won II Prize in Quiz Competition organized by A.R.J. College, Mannargudi on 9th Jan 2015.
• S.Devaki of I Maths won first prize in essay competition. Magudam  thiramaiyanavargal membaattu sangam, Thanjavur conducted essay competition on 9.12.2015. Muthulakshmi, III B.Lit received first prize. Sathyapriya , III Blit received first prize in hand craft competition.
• Tamil Development Department, Thanjavur conducted essay, elocution and poetry competition. N.Chitra, II MA Tamil won II prize in poetry competition and received a cash prize of Rs.10000/-. M. Muthulakshmi, I MA Tamil won third prize in essay competition and received a cash prize of Rs. 7000/-.
• Students participated in BARD FEST conducted by Bharathidasan University between 10.1.2014 – 12.1.2014. S. Bhuvaneswari, II MCom received II prize for clay modeling and III prize for Collage. A.Sivaranjani, II MSW, Suganya, II MCA, Ishwarya, I MA Tamil, Kiruthika, I MA Tamil, Muthulakshmi, I B.Lit, Vidhya, I B.Lit received second prize in Mime (Group). Senthamizhselvi, III B.Sc., Computer Science received third prize in Tamil music competition.Our college received Best College Award.
• Ms. S. Bhuvaneswari, II M.Com received second prize in drawing competition conducted at National College, Trichy on 21.2.2014.
• S.Saritha, B.Lit student attained first rank in the examination conducted at the computer training programme through Tamil conducted by Dinamalar News Paper and Srimathi Indira Gandhi College, Trichy on 7.4.2014 and received fee exemption for undergoing PG course.
• U.Keerthika (2013-16)- Department of Microbiology won 2nd prize in  Model Presentation and Poster presentation-National Techno-Management Fest at SASTRA University, Kumbakonam, held on 23.3.14-30.3.14.
• Ms. A. Sivaranjani, II MSW received Rs. 1000/- as a special prize in poetry competition & J. Susitharosy, I B.Lit received Rs. 500/- for poetry competition conducted by Kavithalam Tamil Sangam, R.D.B. College and Bharath College on 4.8.13.
• Ms. A. Sivaranjani, II MSW received Rs. 7000/- for second place in Poetry competition conducted by Tamil Mandram, Thanjavur for All University and College students on 28.8.2013.
• Students received Indira Gandhi Memorial Shield for second place from Srimathi Indira Gandhi College on 31.8.2013.
• One of our students Ms.A.Sivaranjani of III BSW has received the award of BEST STUDENT of the year 2012 due to her exemplary talents on various disciplines
